Northeastern Pennsylvania has a long history of ethnic, cultural, and religious diversity which has enriched our community resulting in a diverse population of people of differing backgrounds who work, live, and play together in harmony. As we enter in the 21st Century, Northeastern Pennsylvania continues to welcome diverse groups into our community. This guide is intended to be a reference source containing particular resources, which will ensure that individuals feel a part of our community and yet are aware that we treasure and value ethnic diversity and desire to have this diversity preserved. It is designed to assist new members of our community, but also to be available to members of our entire community who wish to learn more about the many different peoples traditions and venues that populate our community.
