DIAMOND CITY PARTNERSHIP RELEASES RESULTS OF
STRATEGIC MARKET DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR DOWNTOWN WILKES-BARRE
The Diamond City Partnership , in conjunction with the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Business and Industry, today announced the results of the Downtown Market Study. Members of the study's consultant team - representatives of Lincoln Property Company and Gibbs Planning Group - were on hand to present an executive summary of the study's results. A public meeting will be held in the fall of 2003 to incorporate the input from area college students and will center around the work of groups of architects from the Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) who have volunteered to help the community "envision" the potential for Downtown as outlined in the market study.
